TIARA FROM VERSACE FOR DEBUTANTES OF VIENNA OPERA BALL
Versace has designed a tiara for the debutantes of the Vienna Opera Ball 2019 in collaboration with Swarovski
The source of inspiration for creating a tiara, made of 380 Swarovski crystals is the opera ‘The Ring of the Nibelung’ by Richard Wagner.
February 28 is the most secular point of the planet
“I am so glad that Donatella Versace complied with my request for using images from the Wagner’s opera “The Ring of the Nibelung” so dramatically” – says Maria Großbauer, the organizer of the Vienna Opera Ball.
In the main scene of the first act, a ray of sunshine penetrates the depths of the Rhine, illuminating the gold protected by the three Rhine maidens.
“I am proud of cooperation with Swarovski. This gives my projects something definite! “- Donatella Versace responded shortly before her fashion house was bought by the Michael Kors brand.
Swarovski had crowned the debutantes of the Vienna Opera Ball since the 1950s.
Last year, the tiara was created by Karl Lagerfeld, and in 2017 – by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
